Girl & Dog Adventures is a custom nursery wallpaper mural created in collaboration with The Wallpaper Kids for a private residence in California.
The mural was designed in an unusual long format 140 cm × 10 m, to wrap across three walls above wall panelling.
The artwork brings together the family’s love for travel and diving: ocean creatures, underwater botanicals, mountains, northern lights, cherry blossoms, Cappadocia balloons, New York, Paris, Lofotens, Dubrovnik, and the little room owner with her family dog.
The project started with a paper room prototype to plan the flow across three walls.
The final artwork was illustrated in Procreate and assembled in Photoshop as a production-ready print file.
Final color direction
Soft blush, blue and sage tones were balanced to create a calm nursery atmosphere, while keeping enough contrast with the wall panelling.

Lofoten islands, mountains, underwater details, Cappadocia balloons, Dubrovnik, and the little room owner travelling with her family dog.
Wall 3
The whale shark becomes the calm hero of this wall, surrounded by ocean life, northern lights, and travel references inspired by the family’s journeys.
The composition was carefully adjusted around shelving and furniture so that the illustration supports the room rather than competing with it.
