Artwork Licensing

Thanks for your interest in licensing my artwork! I'm an illustrator and surface pattern designer who creates original designs featuring animals, birds, insects, and plants, plus playful characters great for kids' patterns. My work is perfect for many different products, and I really enjoy exploring new collaborations.

What I Offer:

  • Diverse Design Portfolio: My collections span from detailed botanical illustrations to playful animal characters, all with a distinctive artistic style.

  • Seamless Patterns: Professionally crafted patterns perfect for textiles, home decor, stationery, and more.

  • Clipart & Illustrations: High-quality isolated elements and illustrations you can use independently or as part of a larger design.

  • Ready-Made Collections: Cohesive pattern collections designed to work together across various products.

  • Customization & Collaboration: I'm open to making modifications to existing designs, including color changes, scale adjustments, and layout variations. I also welcome custom design commissions to perfectly suit your product needs.

Licensing Options

I offer flexible licensing options to fit your specific project. We can discuss which type works best for your needs.

  • Non-Exclusive License: This type of license means that you can use my artwork for your products, but I retain the right to license the same artwork to other companies or individuals. It's a great option for projects where you don't require sole usage of the design.

  • Exclusive License: With an exclusive license, you gain the sole right to use my artwork for your specified needs. This typically includes:

    • Product Type: Agreement on the specific products (e.g., fabric, wallpaper, stationery) the design can be used on.

    • Territory: The geographical regions where the license is valid (e.g., worldwide, North America, Europe).

    • Duration: The period for which the license is active (e.g., 1 year, 3 years, in perpetuity). This means I would not license that particular artwork to any other company for the agreed-upon terms, giving your products a unique market advantage. If the terms of an exclusive license conflict with existing sales, I will remove the pattern from my Creative Market shop and Spoonflower profile.

Submit Your Inquiry:

  • Once you've found designs that interest you, or if you have a specific project in mind, please fill out my licensing inquiry form.

  • In the form, please include details like your company name, the designs you're interested in, your intended product(s), proposed usage (e.g., exclusive/non-exclusive, duration), and any customization requests.

Buyout Option

A Buyout is like buying the design outright. It means you pay a one-time fee to own the design completely. When you choose a buyout, all the rights to that specific artwork are transferred to you or your company. This gives you full control and exclusive use of the design forever.

I'm open to selling existing patterns through a buyout, but I often prefer to create new, custom designs specifically for my clients. This way, you get a unique design that perfectly fits your project.

It's important to remember that when you buy out a design, you're buying that specific design itself, not my overall artistic style. I can still create other patterns in the same style for different clients or projects.

  • Yes, I love custom work! If you have a specific vision or theme, please use the inquiry form to discuss your project.

  • Absolutely. I'm happy to make changes to existing patterns, including color adjustments, scale modifications, and minor layout alterations, to align perfectly with your brand and product specifications.

  • Terms vary based on usage, product type, exclusivity, duration, and territory. We'll discuss and agree upon these terms transparently to find the best fit for our partnership.

  • I'm open to discussing both royalty-based and flat-fee structures, or a combination, to best suit our collaboration.

  • The timeline for custom work depends entirely on the complexity of the project. We'll discuss estimated timelines once I understand your specific needs.

Let's Collaborate!

I'm passionate about creating beautiful and commercially viable designs, and I'm excited about the possibility of bringing my artwork to your products. I look forward to hearing from you.
